As with any clear aligner treatment, if you choose to invest in the Invisalign route, you’ll start with a consultation. Invisalign has its own technology, consisting of a complete digital scan of your mouth with 5D imaging called iTero.
The digital scan replaces the old, uncomfortable dental impressions and lets the dentist create your very own custom-made series of aligners. The scans will show you the process of straightening and what the end result will be.
Shifting your teeth healthily has to be a gradual process, but with Invisalign, it can go faster than the traditional braces would have taken. Plus, you get the bonus of having a barely visible aligner instead of the metal variety.
