Millions of people every year head to the orthodontist for expensive, but necessary, treatments for their crooked teeth. In fact, the popularity of orthodontics is at an all-time high now that people understand how the technique works and are more accepting of the discomfort for the results. But what if you didn’t have to keep unsightly and uncomfortable metal devices in your teeth for years to get the same results? At Bayly Dental, our multiple forms of clear aligners can fix your smile almost - well - invisibly! We off three types of aligners that are created from a clear, transparent material. Without the hassle of metal, you can still get the straight, beautiful smile you’ve been wishing for. Bayly Dental is a proud provider of Invisalign, SureSmile, and ClearCorrect aligners.Book an Appointment at Bayly Dental
As with any clear aligner treatment, if you choose to invest in the Invisalign route, you’ll start with a consultation. Invisalign has its own technology, consisting of a complete digital scan of your mouth with 5D imaging called iTero.
The digital scan replaces the old, uncomfortable dental impressions and lets the dentist create your very own custom-made series of aligners. The scans will show you the process of straightening and what the end result will be.
Shifting your teeth healthily has to be a gradual process, but with Invisalign, it can go faster than the traditional braces would have taken. Plus, you get the bonus of having a barely visible aligner instead of the metal variety.
Invisalign trays are usually swapped out every two weeks, as your teeth shift to their projected position. Your next tray is then created at your follow-up appointment, and the dentist monitors how your mouth is moving.
Often called “clear braces,” SureSmile’s clear aligners work similarly to Invisalign, but with a different technology.
SureSmile’s Clear Aligners are created after your consultation. You’ll have digital scans obtained within seconds with SureSmile’s Primescan™ intraoral scanner, and then you and the dentist, along with SureSmile’s digital lab, will focus on your goal smile.
With that goal in mind, the aligners, plastic replicas of your actual teeth, are created. These aligners apply gentle pressure to your teeth so that they will gradually move into the desired place. Your aligners shift slightly every time you’re ready for new ones.
ClearCorrect is the third clear aligner option offered at Bayly Dental. Similar to the other two, you wear a clear plastic aligner for a set time every day. The gentle pressure from the aligner shifts your teeth slightly.
ClearCorrect has three different treatment options that you and you dentist can decide between, depending on the severity of your problem and other factors.
No mouth has a one-size-fits-all problem, and therefore shouldn’t have a general solution offered. Each of these treatment plans is designed to fit your budget and the severity of your problem.
The results of clear aligner products are so impressive, these techniques are used around the world. Without metal irritating your mouth and regular, painful checkups, more and more people are turning to clear aligners.
When you are ready for straighter teeth and the perfect smile you’ve been dreaming of, schedule an appointment with Bayly Dental to see how our multiple clear aligner options can work their magic on you.
